Poor Old Ringo, He Still Gets No Respect

Another piece of history is about to be demolished by the greed of evil developers. Anyway that's what a man in Liverpool says. The site in question is a house on Madryn Street which Ringo Starr lived in for about three months.
Wow! Three whole months! That's gotta make it a shrine! However, "The council's Housing Select Committee on Thursday decided that the property had no historical significance." But the council executive member, Flo Clucas also said, "'John Lennon and Paul McCartney's childhood homes were preserved because they spent a significant part of their lives in them....'"
Sorry old chap, not quite up to snuff. You're nowhere near as significant as John and Paul.
Funny thing is, if it wasn't for Ringo's goofiness and lovable character, the Beatles wouldn't have been anywhere near the hit they were. Ringo is the one who helped them to fame. John, Paul, and George wrote the music, Ringo made it accessible to anyone. If you looked like Ringo and could have it all, so could anyone.
